为打破家校间的择校“次元壁”，11月11日，由教育、微博教育、择校行联合主办的“&微博2023国际教育秋季巡展”在苏州举办。到场的近千组家庭共同聆听了国际教育者的教育理念以及择校、家校合作建议，并与国际化学校招生官进行了一对一沟通。
此外多位国际教育专家分享了学校的办学特色、教育理念及学生的成长案例，参展家庭纷纷表示受益匪浅。常州威雅执行校长Paul Silverwood参加了本次活动并接受了专访，以下为访谈干货：

02 丰富STEAM教育课程 激发学生对学习的兴趣
常州威雅从幼儿园开始每周实践STEAM教育课程，希望孩子们通过对建筑的创意设计、森林和湖泊的环境测量、植物的种植和培育、动物的观察和照料等亲身参与的研究，激发对学习的兴趣。
STEAM education begins in the Kindergarten at WAS Changzhou with weekly classes designed to inspire the children to learn through investigation. Projects include construction, creative design, environmental measurements in the forest and by the lake, growing and nurturing plants, observing, and caring for animals,
常州威雅以一周六节课的频次为一至六年级的学生教授科学与技术融合课程。无论是在专业实验室里还是在户外环境中，学生们将接触到全方位的科学、工程、编程和设计的跨学科研究项目。经过一整个学年的学习后，学生们将在STEAM活动周中以小组为单位，展示自行设计的本土问题解决方案，其领域涉及美学、旅游、土地管理、商业发展和环境保护等。
WASCZ offers a fully integrated Science & Technology course for children in Grades 1-6, with six lessons per week, access to laboratories and the outdoor environment, and projects that cover the full range of scientific, engineering, programming, and design disciplines. The year culminates in a STEAM week, during which teams are challenged to design solutions to local issues that combine aesthetics, tourism, land management, business generation and environmental protection.

In Grades 7-9, experimental science courses in Physics, Chemistry and Biology are delivered by specialist teachers to all students. Optional ‘Enrichment and Extension’ Clubs are offered in 3D-printing, EV3 Engineering, Python Language Programme, C++, Robotics, Arduino Circuit Breakers, Aquaponics, Lab Cooking, Chocolate Factory, Engineering Design, Logic, Sustainability, Aromatherapy, Carbon Footprint, and Recycle & Reuse.
学校配有专业的老师为十至十二年级学生给予相应的支持，不仅在个人研究项目中指导他们获得EPQ高分与CREST奖项，还鼓励学生们挑战国际竞赛，如英国和澳大利亚的科学奥林匹克竞赛、美国数学竞赛和英国皇家化学学会挑战赛。
Students in G10-12 are mentored as they complete individual research projects, leading to EPQ and CREST Awards, and enter international competitions such as the British and Australian Science Olympiads, the American Mathematics Competitions, and the Royal Society of Chemistry challenges.
学校设有专业的STEAM配套设施，包括9间自然科学实验室、3间工程设计与技术实验室、3间计算机房，并配有食品科学专用设施、3D打印机、镭射激光切割仪器以及6大类笔记本电脑。
Facilities include 9 laboratories for the Natural Sciences, 3 laboratories for Engineering Design & Technology, 3 Computing laboratories, specialist facilities for Food Science, 3D-Printing, and Laser-cutting, as well as six class sets of portable personal computers.
